Inception

OK. This was one of the BEST movies I have seen in a LONG time.
I think the last movie I got this excited over was Angels and Demons.... and that was back in May '09.
It's right up there with Titanic (my all time favorite movie)... Maybe I just have a thing for Leo DiCaprio.... hahahahaha.
The movies is essentially a "heist" movie. A group of people go into a person's dream to try and obtain information. The plot is really WAY too complicated for me to explain, so you'll have to see the movie if you really wanna know...

Leo DiCaprio was, I think, was outshined by his co-stars. Cillian Murphy was amazing... Ellen Page was, well she did pretty well for the (IMO) depth-less character she was given. Marion Cottilard was really really great. She WAS her character.
The only thing I had a problem with in this movie was the NAMES! OK, what kind of name is "Cobb" and "Mal". I had to Google their names to write this because they weren't even understandable in the movie! I never even HEARD Ellen Page's character's name, so I had to Google that one too! And now that I know what it is, I still can't pronounce it!!!!
But, all in all it was a mind-blowing movie.
Well, I'll see you later, I have to go make a totem..
I've been disappointed over a lot of things where I thought they were true...but they turned out not to be.

For example: Alligators don't really live in the NYC sewers. I was like "WHAT?!" I had honestly always believed that was true! It was a huge disappointment when I found out that it wasn't!

Here's another one. Shangri-La. When I found out that Shangri-La was a fictional place, I almost cried. Don't ask me why, but I had always thought that Shangri-La was where the Dalai-Lama lived!
According to the all-knowing Wikipedia:
"Shangri-La is a fictional place described in the 1933 novel "Lost Horizon" by British author James Hilton. In the book, "Shangri-La" is a mystical, harmonious valley, gently guided from a lamasery enclosed in the western end of the Kunlun Mountains. Shangri-La has become synonymous with any earthly paradise but particularly a mythical Himalayan utopia — a permanently happy land, isolated from the outside world. In the novel Lost Horizon, the people who live at Shangri-La are almost immortal, living years beyond the normal lifespan and only very slowly aging in appearance."
That was like a kick to the stomach... I was going to live there when I grew up!!!! (Although I think that everyone is lying because they're covering it up...)

Do you want another one?

OK...

Johnny Depp....

Is not European...

I was in SHOCK when I found this out. (My friend Kahli told me all of three weeks ago)
He was born in Owensboro, Kentucky. D=

That means his accent is FAKE!

..I hope his French wife knows about this -_-''
